The Sparberhof is located opposite the village church, which is dedicated to St. Bernard and was built by the village people in the 60s on their own. In the immediate vicinity of the Sparberhof there is the Gasthaus Egg, which will spoil you with local and traditional dishes and homemade specialties and is definitely worth a visit.
The small village of Doss (Egg) also has a public children’s playground and a small soccer field, which are easily accessible on foot from the Sparberhof. In winter there are plenty of opportunities to romp and play in the snow.
The Sparberhof is located only 7 km from the medieval town center of Sterzing and is the ideal starting point for various activities.
The mighty mountain ranges of the main Alpine ridge are a paradise for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. Summit tours on the Hochfeiler, the Wilde Kreuzspitze and the Weißwand will take you to heights of more than 3,000 meters during your vacation in Sterzing.
Smaller summit tours with fantastic views include routes to the Sarntaler Weißhorn, the Jaufenspitz and the Weisspitz. Discover the wonderful hiking areas on the Rosskopf, in the Vallmingtal, and on the Zirogeralm.
